N&B Labs ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through the Celes application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Celes.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide the Celes experience, we collect specific categories of information:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password.

Blueprint Data (Highly Specific): To map your unique personality base code, we require and collect your exact date of birth, time of birth, and location of birth.

Communication & AI Interaction Data: We collect the text, context, and metadata of your interactions with Celes in both "Solo Chat" and "Vibe Check" group sessions.

Payment Information: All subscriptions to the Pro Tier are processed exclusively as in-app purchases via the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). We do not directly collect, process, or store your credit card or billing information on our servers. Your payment details are securely handled entirely by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Device & Usage Data: We automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, device type, operating system, and app usage metrics to ensure the Service functions correctly and to identify bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to operate and improve the Service: to generate your unique personality blueprint and provide tailored AI companionship; to moderate and facilitate "Vibe Check" group dynamics; to process your subscription payments and manage your account; to communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support messages; and to analyze usage trends and improve the underlying algorithms of the Celes application.

3. AI Processing, Machine Learning, & Model Training

Celes is fundamentally an artificial intelligence platform. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to how we process your "Blueprint Data" and "Communication Data."

API & Third-Party Processing: To generate immediate responses, your data may be transmitted securely via API to trusted third-party AI infrastructure providers. These providers are restricted from using your personal data for their own independent model training.

Service Improvement & Model Fine-Tuning: We continuously strive to improve the empathy, accuracy, and conversational abilities of Celes. We reserve the right to use your Communication Data (chat logs) and Blueprint Data to train, fine-tune, and improve our proprietary machine-learning models and algorithms.

De-identification Commitment: Before any User Content is used for internal model training or fine-tuning, N&B Labs will employ commercially reasonable efforts to aggregate, anonymize, and strip the data of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or specific contact details, ensuring the AI learns from the patterns of human psychology, not your specific identity.

Opt-Out Request: We respect your privacy boundaries. You may request to opt out of having your Communication Data used for our future internal model training by emailing us at legal@nandblabs.com with the subject line "Data Training Opt-Out." Please allow up to 30 days for this request to be processed. Opting out will not degrade the quality of your current Service, but your future interactions will not contribute to the evolution of the Celes model.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks. We only share information under the following circumstances:

With Other Users (Vibe Check): When you participate in a "Vibe Check" group chat, certain aspects of your personality blueprint and your chat inputs will be visible to other members of that specific group. You control the visibility and privacy toggles for your blueprint data via your Personal Hub.

With Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI APIs). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of N&B Labs, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and advise you to be mindful of the sensitive information you choose to share in chat sessions.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service.

Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at legal@nandblabs.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will permanently delete or anonymize your Blueprint Data and Communication Data within 30 days, except where retention is strictly required by law or necessary for legitimate business dispute resolution.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data and terminate the account.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
